Discover what life as a pupil at Hymers College is really like.

Our School in Action Day is different to our Open Events as it takes place during the school day. This means that you get an honest look at the school from a pupil's perspective. The aim of this approach is to provide you with chance to experience Hymers warm and welcoming environment first-hand and witness how we focus on the whole child, supporting them to develop the skills and self-confidence to grow and flourish.

You will have the opportunity to: 

• Take a tour whilst lessons are in progress

• Talk to our specialist teachers 

• Ask questions and chat to pupils

• Learn about our excellent pastoral care

• Explore our outstanding facilities 

• Meet our senior leadership team

Whether your child is about to take their first steps into education in Pre-School or about to embark on Sixth Form study, you can be assured School in Action will help you discover how we can support them throughout their journey.

Booking

To allow us to give you the best experience possible, places are limited and must be booked in advance. Please select your preferred tour time and the school phase you are interested in from the list below, and book one tour ticket for your whole group. You do not need to book a ticket for each member of your group.

On the day

Enter through the main school gate, veer left and park in the Quad. Staff and signage will be in the car park to direct you to registration. A map will be sent to you closer to the date.

Most visits last 1.5 hours.
