Schedule of Fees
Every Summer Term our Governors review our fees and make any necessary adjustments to their levels for the following academic year, enabling us to continue to deliver the highest standard and quality of education to our pupils both inside and outside of the classroom.
We continue to benchmark our fees against other comparable independent schools both in our local area and beyond and remain confident that Hymers continues to offer the best possible value for money.
You will find the schedule of fees for the coming academic year below.
Please be assured, our Governors have worked hard to keep the termly fee increase as low as possible while still being able to deliver the quality of education that we all desire.
The school offers a fees in advance (FIA) scheme for parents whose children are in the school, or who are registered to start in September 2025. For further information please contact the Bursar: bursar@hymers.org

Further Information
-
For our Pre-School children, we accept:
15 hours universal funding per week (based on 6 hours 15 minutes per school), which the school will support with applying for
30 hours Working Family 3 to 4-year-old funding, which parents need to apply for directly with the government
This begins the term after the child turns three. For instance, if your child turns three in October, the free hours would be available from the following January when the Spring Term commences. The free childcare hours will be deducted from your termly bill.
In order to claim this funding you will need to sign a parental agreement. Thereafter, attendance is charged at £10.19 per hour for Pre-School. The costs for Reception shown above factor in this funding.
In order to claim the 15 hours of universal funding the government stipulates the following:
Autumn Term, your child must be 3 before 31 August
Spring Term, your child must be 3 before 31 December
Summer Term, your child must be 3 before 31 March.
Please contact the Finance Team by emailing bills@hymers.org to confirm your eligibility and to check the deadline for us to apply for your 15 hours of universal funding.
We do not accept:
Working Family 2-year-old funding

In both cases, charges for extras incurred in the previous term will be collected on or soon after 1 October, 1 February and 1 May.
