Oliver’s double success

Oliver B, Year 10, has had a very busy term. He recently attended the British Youth Fencing Championships (BYCs) where he competed in the U16 Boys Épée competition, having qualified via the Yorkshire & North East BYC qualifying event held in York in February. This is the fourth year out of the last five that Oliver has qualified for the BYCs. 

In addition, Oliver was delighted to have been awarded the Hull Ionians U15 Player Of The Year trophy, presented to him at their end-of-year presentation ceremony.  Oliver is Vice Captain of the U15s team at Ionians alongside some of his Year 10 classmates.
