Charity Triathlon Day
Sunday 23rd June 2019
9.00am to 4.00pm
Ever wanted to give a triathlon a go? There’s no better place to put yourself to the test than the fantastic facilities and grounds of Hymers College!
Whatever your age or ability, you’ll experience the principles of a triathlon in a fun and relaxed environment, whilst raising funds for our two chosen charities of 2019: Hull for Heroes and Hull Women’s Aid.
Students, parents, staff, Old Hymerians and friends of Hymers College are welcome to get involved. The cost to enter is £10.00 for all participants.
Morning Session - 9.00am to 12.00pm
The morning event will be of a more competitive nature, which hopefully will appeal to more experienced triathletes. We will be offering a range of distances across three disciplines - swimming, biking and running - to suit all age groups.
When completing the entry form, you will be asked to specify which time you would like to start your age-specific triathlon.
Afternoon Session - 12.00pm to 4.00pm
The afternoon session will be more informal and family-orientated. Catering for all abilities, it is the perfect opportunity to ‘Try a triathlon’. Entrants can choose the distances that they wish to cover, which should be no greater than the competitive distance for a given age group.
It may also be possible for a family or a small group of three to ‘Try a triathlon’ as a team with each member completing just one of the disciplines (£10.00 entry per team).
When completing the entry form, you will be asked to give your preferred time slot.
The final date for entries is Friday 31st May.
Are you up for the challenge? Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for an entry form or for further information.
