Futurologist Speaks to the Sixth Form

Mark Stevenson, a leading futurologist, gave this morning lecture to the Sixth Form. In a thought-provoking and inspirational lecture Mark challenged the students to think about the many things that are broken in today’s society, from the media to politicians. Using many examples of broken systems from around the world he described how some organisations are working towards a better future using a bottom-up approach, giving employees more say in their futures.

Not surprisingly the talk provoked much thinking and many interesting questions. The Headmaster, David Elstone, gave the vote of thanks saying it was without doubt the most important lecture of the year and one that students will remember for a very long time to come.
