The school’s annual Speech Day celebrations took place on Thursday 14th September. The special Guest of Honour was Crista Cullen, who was a part of the Great Britain Hockey Team that won a gold medal in the Rio Olympics. Crista spoke passionately about her journey to the gold and was truly inspirational.

The Chairman, Mike Roberts, spoke to a packed hall about the changes that were taking place within the school, highlighting the wonderful new facilities that have opened in recent years, including a new Music Centre, the Learning Resource Centre and the new science laboratories that have opened this September. Headmaster, David Elstone, focussed his speech on the political pressures facing independent education.

The highlight of any Speech Day is the distribution of prizes. Congratulations go to all of our prizewinners and a special thanks go to Crista Cullen for being with us.
