A Royal Landing

Wednesday, 8 November, 2017

Princess Anne landed at Hymers College on Tuesday 7th November to spend a day in the UK City of Culture.

As patron of the Sailors Children Society, the purpose for Princess Anne’s visit was not only to celebrate the run up to the charity’s 200th Anniversary, but to also launch their new initiative; Society 200 Business Club. The charity supports disadvantaged children of families who work at sea.

After launching the initiative, Princess Anne then returned to Hymers and left in her private helicopter - ready to continue her duties in Scotland on Wednesday.
