The Former Head of Sports Science at the BOA Speaks to the Sixth Form

Steve Ingham, the former Sports Science Manager at the British Olympic Association gave this morning’s Sixth Form lecture. He spoke about the role science plays in elite sports giving examples of the many world class athletes with whom he has worked. These included Jessica Ennis-Hill and Steve Redgrave.

Steve gave a fascinating insight into the mentality of elite sportsmen and women having worked with over 200 who have gone on to achieve world or Olympic medals.

Ben Renwick gave the vote of thanks on behalf of the students present.
