Chess Players Finish Sixth In The Country

The senior Chess Squad of Ned Carmichael, Quintin Yu, Will de Braal and Adi Venkat finished sixth in the national finals of the Chess Problem Solving Competition held at Imperial College, London.

Having battled through two tough qualifying rounds the team travelled to London last week to compete against some of the best Chess playing schools in the country. The team were challenged by difficult chess problems which they had a limited time period to solve.

It was the second year running that the school as represented at the national finals.
