Hymers College was established more than 120 years ago and continues to evolve to this day. Not only do we pride ourselves on the academic achievements of our students but also on the support and guidance we provide on their road to adulthood. We balance new ideas with our history and tradition, ensuring stability whilst embracing innovation.
Hymers College has ambitions plans for the future ensuring our students continue to have access to the finest facilities in the area.
We have recently taken ownership of our flagship new music building, incorporating classrooms, practice and performance spaces and a recording studio. This environment will nurture the musical talents of our students for generations to come while proving a fitting setting for them to showcase their abilities.
Throughout the 2013-14 academic year we watched, with great interest, the new Music and Changing Room block take shape in the East Car Park. The school finally took ownership of the new building during August 2014 ready for the new academic year.
