Girls badminton team to play in Yorkshire Finals

On 7th February, the key stage 3 boys and girls badminton teams headed to the Hull Badminton Centre for the Humberside Final.

The boys, consisting of Irfaan Mohammed, AJ Mishra, Ben Robinson and Harshith Maruthireddy, all Year 9, lost 2 of their matches and won 1 which placed them 3rd in their section.

The girls, consisting of Ananya Mundwadker and Emily Robinson, both Year 7, Olivia Clarke, Year 9, Rhea Harrison and Imogen Witty, both Year 8, won all 3 matches placing them 1st in the group and securing them a place in the Yorkshire Final to be held at York Railway Institute on Wednesday 14th March.
