Dublin Trip

17th February 2012

On the weekend of 10th - 12th February, Historians from the Sixth Form travelled to Dublin as a culmination of the studies of 19th  and 20th century British and Irish relations.
The trip included visits to a variety of historical and cultural sites including Dublin Castle, the Guinness Storehouse and Dublin’s GPO and Kilmainham Jail, two key sites in the study of Irish rebellion.

A good time was had by all with many already planning return visits to the Emerald Isle!
