01/03/2010 - Former Convict Speaks to Year 12
Former convict John Bowers addressed the Year 12 at their lecture this morning. In a thought provoking and stimulating lecture, Mr Bowers challenged the youngsters to consider whether the current prison system works. Taking his own life as an example he gave a powerful argument to suggest that it does not.
Once again an impressive range of questions were asked by the youngsters before Isra Rehman gave a vote of thanks.
