Miss Halliwell, a teacher at the school, talked in assembly recently about Gloddaeth Holidays, more commonly known as GLOD. These camps not only offer a wide range of adventurous activities such as water skiing and rock climbing but the infamous Zorbing- a human hamster wheel!
Furthermore, it offers students the chance to learn about the basis of Christianity. Michael Cook of the sixth form, a regular camper, said that at GLOD he has made friends for life. The Easter Revision camp was also recommended for those students taking exams who wish to have fun too.
