04/02/2010 - Chief Executive of English Heritage Speaks to Year 12

Dr Simon Thurley, the Chief Executive of English Heritage gave this morning's Year 12 Lecture. In a passionate address he challenged the youngsters to consider how important it is to save our country's heritage. Following Simon's lecture there was time time for the youngsters to ask questions. Dr. Thurley commented to the Headmaster how wonderful it was to have a 16 and 17 year olds ask exactly the same questions as a Government Minister.
