Years
7 to 9
Music is taught as a class subject to all pupils. Emphasis is placed
upon developing the practical aspects of the subject and this is
viewed as preparation for the GCSE.
As well as good singing being encouraged and some basic theory
being taught, the pupils have the opportunity to learn to play and
compose using a wide range of electronic and traditional classroom
instruments.

Instrumental
Tuition
This is offered for all orchestral and wind band instruments,
together with singing, piano, guitar and percussion.
The College has a large number of instruments, which may be made
available on loan to those starting lessons. Full details of lessons
are available from the Director of Music.
