Community
The school places great value on its links with the local community which allows students to undertake activities ranging from helping in local primary schools to compiling Christmas parcels for the elderly and those in need. The school encourages involvement in charity fundraising and pupils get involved with enthusiasm. Activities range from non-uniform days, attendance at local events such as the Humber Bridge Fun Run, and the organisation of charity concerts.
For over 20 years now, the school has provided lunch for a small group of pensioners once a week, and more importantly, the opportunity for them to chat to members of the Sixth Form.
The school hosts various community events including Kwik Cricket Tournaments and the Rotary Club Disability Games.
